Why We Are Climbing
The Alexandra House of Joy is on a mission to build a purpose-built, specialist care centre in Bicester for adults with severe and profound learning disabilities. This much-needed centre will provide:
-
Vital Support: Specialist day-time care and a welcoming environment filled with dignity and joy.
-
Lifeline Respite: Essential respite services to support local families and carers who give so much to their loved ones every day.
-
Compassionate Care: Dedicated, high-quality end-of-life care.
Help Us Hit a Historic Milestone!
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our community, we are now so close to reaching our first £1 Million fundraised!
Hitting this target will officially unlock Phase One of the building project, bringing the centre one massive step closer to reality. Together, step-by-step, we can climb a mountain and build a place of joy, dignity, and belonging.
