Protesters Rally as Budget Cuts are Confirmed

Dozens of protesters, including Rachael Scott-Hunter, gathered outside County Hall in Oxford to rally against the £4.3m budget cut. Protesters argued that the council was failing in its "duty of care" to the elderly and disabled.

This pivotal moment of community resistance served as the catalyst for what would eventually become the Alexandra House of Joy—a direct response to the loss of these essential services.
