On July 24th 2022, a wonderful afternoon tea was served by the very kind and generous owner and staff of The Littlebury Hotel, Bicester, to raise funds for our Charity. The setting was perfect and 70 people attended, making it a very successful event indeed.

The Cloud 9 Band provided delightful entertainment, playing nostalgic 1940s music. It was a joy to see guests get up and dance; it was a lovely afternoon tea dance!

Once again, we are indebted to the incredible kindness of Mike McKeown and his staff (especially the chef!) for such a memorable afternoon. Enormous thanks go also to the fabulous Cloud 9 Band: Amanda, Des, Celia, Daniel, and Emily. A special mention to 15-year-old Emily, who stepped in for her mother, Celia, and did a wonderful job.

Our thanks also go to Emily Lane and her friend Hannah, two students who very kindly volunteered to wait at the tables. Thanks also to Kathy Liddell for her work on advertising and ticket sales, to the generous donors of raffle prizes, and to everyone who supported us.

£713 was raised, for which we are very grateful. How blessed we are to have such wonderful support!
